Divine Retreat offers professional hair and massage therapy services:

Hair Services

Including but not limited to haircuts, color services, highlights, balayage, styling, and hair treatments. Results may vary based on individual hair type, condition, and history.

Massage Therapy

Including therapeutic massage, deep tissue, aromatherapy, reflexology, and salt therapy. Our licensed massage therapists customize treatments to your needs.

Appointment Guidelines

• Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment, especially for first visits
• Late arrivals may result in a shortened service time to accommodate the next client
• If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment
• For new clients, please arrive early to complete any necessary consultation or intake forms

We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice so we can offer your appointment time to another guest.

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.

Gratuity

Gratuity is not included in service prices and is left to your discretion. Tips are greatly appreciated and can be added to your card payment or given in cash directly to your service provider.

Divine Retreat gift cards are the perfect way to share the gift of relaxation.

Gift Card Terms

• No Expiration: In accordance with Michigan law, our gift cards do not expire
• Non-Refundable: Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash
• No Cash Value: Remaining balances cannot be exchanged for cash
• Gratuity: Gift cards may be used for services only, not for gratuity
• Lost or Stolen: Please treat your gift card like cash. Replacement of lost or stolen cards is at our discretion

Client Responsibilities

• Disclose any relevant health conditions, medications, or allergies before services
• Inform your stylist of any previous hair treatments or chemical services
• Notify us of any skin sensitivities or reactions to products

Massage Therapy Considerations

Massage therapy may not be appropriate for certain health conditions. Please consult with your physician if you have any of the following:

• Pregnancy (first trimester)
• Recent surgery or injuries
• Skin conditions or open wounds
• Cardiovascular conditions
• Infectious diseases
• Blood clotting disorders

Our massage therapists reserve the right to modify or decline service if they believe it may not be in your best interest.

Allergies & Patch Tests

For color services, we recommend a patch test 48 hours before your appointment if you have sensitive skin or have experienced reactions to hair products in the past.

Service Results

While we strive to meet your expectations, individual results may vary based on hair type, condition, and history. If you are unsatisfied with your service, please let us know within 7 days and we will work with you to make it right.

Personal Belongings

Divine Retreat is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. Please keep valuables secure during your visit.

Allergic Reactions

While we use professional-grade products, allergic reactions can occur. By using our services, you acknowledge this risk. We are not liable for allergic reactions to products used during services, though we take all reasonable precautions and encourage patch tests for sensitive individuals.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, power outages, or public health emergencies.

Divine Retreat is a sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation. We expect all guests to maintain a respectful and professional demeanor.

We Reserve the Right To:

• Refuse or terminate service to anyone who is disruptive, disrespectful, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• End any service immediately if inappropriate behavior occurs
• Decline future appointments to individuals who violate our code of conduct

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment of any kind toward our staff or other clients.

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of Divine Retreat and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

• Content may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission
• Photos taken at our salon may be used for marketing purposes with your consent
• Client reviews and testimonials may be featured on our website and social media

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of Macomb County, Michigan.
